today i got my yellow fever vaccine, the 6th and final shot (hep A, typhoid, polio, meningococcal, tetanus) i needed for my trip. so now i'm a virtual wall of immunity...ha!
also got my anti-malarial prescription (mefloquine). the possible side effects include really fun things like "vivid dreams, convulsions, panic attacks, forgetfulness, confusion, hallucinations, aggression, psychotic or paranoid reactions and encephalopathy." so just be forewarned that if at any point these entries start getting a little loopy, it's the drugs, not me. =)
